is it possible to detach the wii sensor bar?

if i set up my wii sensor bar already, could i remove it and place it elsewhere. or does the adhesive part of the sensor bar prevent me from detaching it? ty in advanced.

You can move it, of course. All the adhesive does is keep it in one place
The only way to detach the sensor bar is by unplugging the plug that connects it to the Wii system. Then you can rearrange where you want the bar to be, then replug it.
Don’t detach the actual bar from the cord. That would break the whole thing.
Oh, yes of course you can place it somewhere else. It won’t damage the sensor bar at all. On your Wii menu (under the options button) there is a choice to place your wii sensor bar under your tv, or below it. make sure to change it to which one it needs to be on. like if its above your tv now, make sure that the position setting is set to "Above TV". And if you move the sensor bar below the tv, be sure to change the setting to "Below TV".
