It's either:
* A problem with the sensor bar
* A problem with the batteries
* A problem with the Wiimote
* A problem with the Wii

You can:
* Move the sensor bar around
* Try putting different batteries in the sensor bar
* Try putting different batteries in the Wiimote
* Ask Nintendo or the sensor bar's company what's going on

the wireless one tends to be less reliable so for now just stick with a wired one. consider selling the wireless one to a local shop.

Did you test the first on (the wireless one) after you put fresh batteries in it? Did the Wii pick up the signal? Were you aiming at the bar? Was the bar close to the Wii/TV?

I suggest that you keep the wired one but keep the wireless one also, and possibly try working on it.

Hope that helps!

I have a Nyko wireless sensor bar that works just fine, but I'm not sure what brand yours is. If it is a Nyko, I'd reccomend making sure your batteries are good, and they are in the right way. Also, turn the beeping timer off on the back, it drains battery life faster and is annoying during game sessions longer than 1 hr.

Are you sure you didn't put the batteries in backwards? Did you turn it on?
