My wii sensor bar broke the other day…
and my friend says an alternative solution to a replacement sensor bar are a set of 2 LED lights on each side.
I just want to make sure he is right before I go purchase the LED lights.

That’s pretty much all the Sensor Bar is, but how do you plan to build the LED light setup?
Nyko makes a wireless sensor bar for about $20:

Yes. But do you want an even better solution? Candles!
The WiiMote just picks up IR signals, which to it is any source of concentrated heat. You can be even more creative.
The cord from your WiiBar is for power only, it doesn’t transmit data.
Use the suggested candles or pick up that wireless one off of ebay-you can get it for &.99-2 with about $5 shipping so you end up saving about $13 instead of buying from the manufacturer.
Just make sure the LEDs you get are Infrared.
