We are setting up our Wii for the first time and were trying to get the sensitivty of the remotes and sensor bar correct. We turned it way down – thinking it was too sensitive – but now can’t get the sensor bar to pick up anything! No cursor on the screen – at all! BUT we can’t figure out how to reset it either, HELP!!
The port/slot that the sensor bar plugs into on my wii is wrecked. Ive been using a wireless sensor bar for a while, but much prefer the plug in one. I am unable to plug in a sensor bar because there are bits of an old jammed sensor bar was stuck in, and I wrecked it even more try to get it out.
Anyone know where to get a replacement slot?

I just bought a new wireless wii sensor bar but i can’t get it to work on my tv. It has batteries.
You can use remote controls, cheap leds, even candles to fix a broken Wii sensor bar.

Yes, I suck at life, but don’t care enough to change it =) If you have any questions, post on the comments and I or someone else should be able to help you. -Also, I am planning on making an IR transmitter with a longer range. I noticed that the range on this sensor bar is only about 10 or so feet; it is really finicky or doesn’t work at all beyond that. I’ll let you know how that goes.
How do I connect my Wii sensor bar to my PC? Or if its not possible, how do I do the candle trick?

the sensor bar (it has a wire) that came with my wii could be stuck to a tv, and i did. If i want to move my wii to another place, how should i move the sensor bar? if i forcefully remove it, will it break?
I don’t want to replace the stickies permanently, just a way to remove them harmlessly and then be able to restick them multiple times.
